RCCN WEBINAR

All About NIH Supplements to Support Researchers Through Major Life and Career Changes"

Organized by the Research Centers Collaborative Network and the National Institute on Aging.

In order to support researchers that have undergone a critical life event (such as the birth of a child or caring for a family member), or who would like to gain new specialized skills for career advancement, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) offer several types of administrative supplements: Research Continuity and Retention Supplements and Research Supplements to Promote Re-Entry, Re-integration into, and Re-training in Health-Related Research Careers.

This RCCN webinar featured a presentation from Laura Major who gave an overview of these lesser-known opportunities, and shared information on eligibility, how to apply, and what to expect from the application and review process. The presentation was followed by a Q&A. This webinar recording may be of interest to early and mid-career researchers who are eligible for these opportunities, as well as senior researchers who are mentoring early-career researchers.
