The Research Centers Collaborative Network (RCCN) fosters new cross-disciplinary collaborations by bringing together scientists from disciplines represented in the seven NIA-supported center programs. The RCCN’s goal is to uncover synergies and insights that lead to novel collaborations, and, ultimately, to better the lives of older adults.

The RCCN sponsors Workshops to achieve this goal. In addition, it also supports relevant meetings organized by other groups that can advance the program’s interest in encouraging cross-disciplinary collaborations. Specifically, the RCCN Fund for Interdisciplinary Meetings provides travel awards to early career researchers from a range of disciplines to participate in these meetings.
