The RCCN Research Compass is a tool to search for publications from the 6 NIA-funded centers programs. This tool will search publications reported to PubMed between March 2020 and March 2025.

How to Use the RCCN Research Compass

To use the tool, start by typing in keywords you want to search for (and, if applicable, keywords for research you would like to be excluded from your search). Then, select which centers programs and institutions to include in your search (the default is to search all centers programs and institutions).

The Output will display a chart with centers listed in the columns (with the format Center Program Abbreviation: Institution) and keywords in rows. The number of publications found will be displayed numerically and color-coded based on volume. Click on the numbered/colored cell to display the list of publications and authors. When you are ready to conduct a new search, click the “Reset Form” button to start again.

The Summary Table displays each publication found in your search, attributed to its center. If the search field is blank, the Summary Table shows a list of all centers and the total number of articles searchable in the RCCN Research Compass.
