Resilience and Reserve: Biology of Aging and Translational Research

Wednesday, July 1, 2020,
11am-12pm ET (8-9am PT)

As a follow up to the RCCN webinar “Resilience and Reserve: Defining, Refining, and Advancing Research in Aging,” this webinar discussed NIA resilience research opportunities and programs emphasizing translational research related to resilience and reserve. The webinar included a programmatic overview as well as experimental outcomes from an NIA-funded researcher.

The free, one-hour webinar explored:

  • The geroscience perspective on resilience and reserve
  • Resilience resource development using animal models including the Successful Trajectories of Aging Reserve and Resilience in Rats (STARRRS) program
  • NIA-funded resilience research in the biology of aging

A Q&A followed.
